KarbamidThe largest investment project in the region was implemented by foreign partners - the Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and the Gap Inşaat (Turkey). The Yokohama company (Japan) was responsible for leveraging complete automation of technology management systems. It is evident that this state-of-the-art plant uses cutting-edge technology.
The developments of Haldor Topsoe AS (Denmark) will make it possible to produce 2.000 tons of ammonia per day, or 660.000 tons of ammonia per year used as the main raw material in the production of a concentrated solid nitrogen fertilizer, known as urea.
It will produce 3.500 tons per day, or 1.155 million tons of urea fertilizers, which are to be exported by sea. Apart from Haldor Topsoe AS, these technologies are used by Saipem (Italy), Uhde Fertilizer Technology BV (the Netherlands), and UOP (USA). The plant is designed to process about 1 billion m3 of natural gas per year.
In addition to the main production bays, the synthetic ammonia and urea plant comprises a gas turbine generator for power generation, and a seawater purification and desalination plant.
KarbamidTo this end, the local port in Garabogaz, the key export point of urea, has been completely renovated.
